Aderinokun Foundation's Scholarship award ceremony

Secondary School students in Ogun Central benefit from Aderinokun Foundation’s scholarship programme

Olumide and Stephanie Aderinokun Foundation rewarded 60 outstanding students in Ogun Central Senatorial District with scholarship worth 50,000 naira on Wednesday.

The 60 recipients were drawn from the six Local Government Areas in Ogun Central after they wrote the qualifying examination, organised and supervised by “Project Think Kindly”.

The award ceremony took place at Ontec Events Centre in Abeokuta South Local Government Area and it had over 300 students in attendance.

Founder of Olumide & Stephanie Aderinokun Foundation and Akinruyiwa of Owu Kingdom, Chief Olumide Aderinokun presented the cash gifts by himself and he urged the students to keep up the hard work and also be good ambassadors of their families and communities. 

Also in attendance were former Commissioner for Community Development in Ogun State, Prince Lekan Tejuosho, ex-Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Honourable Soyemi Coker amongst other dignitaries and executives of the People’s Democratic Party. 

In addition to the reward, artistes Vanessa Jones, Mr. Spencer and Young Professor were present to entertain the students and invited guests with thrilling performances. 

Prior to resumption for the 2021-22 academic session, Olumide and Stephanie Aderinokun Foundation provided 600 school bags with 600 sandals to students in Ogun Central after staging a free summer coaching lesson during the holiday in August.
